This program will provide a literature-based, systematic approach aimed at helping clinicians with treatment planning and the decision-making process for patients who would benefit from implant-supported overdenture therapy. The discussion will include an overview of the key clinical steps necessary for providing this care.

Edward R. Schlissel, DDS, MS
Dr. Schlissel received his dental degree from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, School of Dentistry in Buffalo, New York and his Materials Science degree from SUNY at Stony Brook, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, in Stony Brook, New York. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Schlissel is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Surgery at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and Professor Emeritus of General Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine at SUNY at Stony Brook in New York. Dr. Schlissel currently maintains a private practice in Marietta, Georgia.
